Half-square triangles are one of the most common units found in quilt blocks, and yet they're often the bane of many quilters' days! The Mod Gears uses a super quick and easy way for making eight half-square triangles at a time, to keep your half-square triangle making frustration at bay!
This pieced quilt pattern features a quilt that has previously been seen in a past issue of Modern Quilts Unlimited. The cover pattern features fabrics from Carolyn Friedlander's first collection for Robert Kaufman, Architextures.
You'll find a black and white line drawing of the block in the pattern that you can reproduce to your heart's content until you figure out the right fabric/color placement that makes you excited to start cutting! You'll also find detailed instructions, complete with photographs and full-color diagrams to assist you in your quilt making. Cutting and yardage information is provided for four quilt sizes: baby, lap, twin, and queen/king.
